CKW Environment Limited is an independent company of consulting engineers engaged in environmental engineering, with particular emphasis on water supplies, wastewater treatment, solid waste management and disposal, and environmental impact studies. The company started as a partnership in Nigeria in 1969, which continued until the establishment of the indigenisation decree. In 1970, GKW Nigeria Limited was founded under the parent company of GKW CONSULT GmbH, Germany. In 2011, GKW Nigeria changed its name when the parent company changed ownership, resulting in a joint venture relationship under the name CKW Environment Limited.

CKW has over four decades of experience in project preparation, execution, and follow-up. Our team comprises several engineers of varied discipline—who receive continuing education and training—as well as surveyors and legal and financial professionals. By combining quality engineering experience with sophisticated computer equipment and interdisciplinary cooperation, CKW Environment Limited offers the utmost in environmental technology services, from small local projects to those spanning several miles.
